The show must go on

In Impolite Comments on March 8, 2009 at 12:03 pm

Just as I was about to blog the Eraserheads – The Final Set Concert today, of course, I’ll be able to see if someone left a comment on my blog and was happy to see that someone did. But to my dismay, it’s a negative and very impolite comment. The internet is full of these people being a medium where democracy is wide spread. And it’s a sad fact because oftentimes it’s misused by people who don’t think before leaving a comment maybe because their real identities are concealed anyway because if it’s as obvious as it is in directly talking in the offline world they could have been more polite as their identities are at risk.

Importance of Life Insurance – A tribute to Francis Magalona

In Investing Money on March 6, 2009 at 7:41 pm

I can’t help but be sad with the demise of Francis Magalona as when I was younger and does not sing yet, I always sang the songs of the Philippines’ Master Rapper. Just like Francis who’s advocacy is to promote nationalism, I also have my own advocacies which include being able to inspire a lot of people in being financially literate.

This particular blog entry is my special tribute to one of my idols – Francis Magalona. Read the rest of this entry »

Another “mandatory expense” that is related to your car is a Car Insurance. Attention drivers and motor vehicle owners: this is a must read for you!!! Read the rest of this entry »

My condolences to all the loved ones of people who died today

In Moral of the Story on March 1, 2009 at 11:46 am

Just a few minutes ago I received a text message from one of my two original best friends during high school about the death of the grandmother of our other best friend.I already gave my condolences to my our best friend and will wait for the details of the “lamay” of her grandmother.

As sad as this incident there is yet another lesson on this story. As I said over and over again, every minute of our life is basically a learning time (consciously or unconsciously).

Below are the morals of the story: Read the rest of this entry »

Fire hits restaurant in SM Bacoor

In Moral of the Story on March 1, 2009 at 10:06 am

Morals of the story are the following:

  • Accidents such as this happen. It’s not a question of who as every Juan is a candidate to experience an accident no matter how careful or cautious we are. Ignore the fact that it happens and you’ll be unable to prepare for it which in turn will cause more troubles to you, your loved ones and other people involved in the unfortunate incident as well. That being said, “preparing” for an accident such as this is a must! Read the rest of this entry »
