SSS may end on 2036 – another big reason to personally invest

“The actuarial life of SSS fund is estimated to last until 2036.”

These are the words of SSS President, Romulo Neri in the article at Inquirer.net. Actuarial life simply means life expectancy thus, in laymans terms, the statement above means the end of SSS is estimated on 2036 which is 26 years from now. And that is a big big problem to those who will retire by that year (I’m one of those possible to retire by that time). Read the rest of this entry »

My condolences to all the loved ones of people who died today

Just a few minutes ago I received a text message from one of my two original best friends during high school about the death of the grandmother of our other best friend.I already gave my condolences to my our best friend and will wait for the details of the “lamay” of her grandmother.

As sad as this incident there is yet another lesson on this story. As I said over and over again, every minute of our life is basically a learning time (consciously or unconsciously).
